Rox ain’t that big of a deal in Co… for now anywaysBy Rocktober2007 on March 19, 2009 | 1 Comment
yeah, it’s been a while since I last blogged I’ve been a bit lazy and with out listening to Rockies games or watching them on TV is making me feel a bit out of it.
Rockies spring training news has taken a backseat in the sporting world here in Colorado, the only thing I’ve heard more about is this whole Jay Cutler/Josh McDaniels soap BS, although I guess that’s a bit of good news for the Rox they won 2 of their last 4 games before getting the day off on Wed; they’ll be playing later today against Joe Torre’s LA Dodgers game time is 2:05PM CT but I doubt it’s on TV or radio just like the last 4 games which stinks for me because I miss listening to Jeff & Jack on the radio and I miss watching Rockies games on TV.
Oh Well.
But according to the Rockies online spring training schedule, their game vs the Cleveland Indians (Sun March 22nd) will be televised by MLB Network as well as MLB.tv & FSN same for Mon the 23rd’s game against the Brew crew from Milwaukee, Sat the 28th’s game against da Cubbies will be televised & next Mon the 30th’s game vs the Diamondbacks of Arizona is the final televised game of spring training for the Rockies of Colorado. Before you know it, it’ll be APRIL 10th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You're a MLB Pro..Thanks For Coming Back!

Winless streak is over for the RoxBy Rocktober2007 on March 8, 2009 | No Comments
The last time I blogged about the Rockies they were 0 & 7, now a week later the Rockies have managed to find life as they broke their winless streak on Fri beating the San Deigo Padres 13 to 11 — ‘course they lost their Exhibition game vs Vinny Castilla’s Mexico team the previous day — but still, they won Fri & Saturday’s game vs the Giants 9 to 7; it was Deja-vu again today as the Rox played the Padres & won 4 to 2. Great news about that game is Todd Helton homered!
Before Fri’s game vs the Padres, Rockies manager Clint Hurdle told reporters that Cookie (Aaron Cook) will be the starting pitcher when the Rockies open the season vs the DBacks in Chase Field on April 6th & Uball (Ubaldo Jimenez) will start game 2 vs the Dbacks.
