Lohse throws complete game shutout as Cards win 3-0

There is no question that Kyle Lohse was the player of the game today. Lohse threw a complete game shutout, allowing just three hits and K’ing four. He is now 2-0 with a 1.13 ERA this season.

The Cards had three runs on just six hits, with Khalil Greene getting three of them. Greene was 3 for 4 on the day with a run and RBI. Ryan Ludwick and Chris Duncan were both 1 for 3, having an RBI each and striking out once each.

Kaz Matsui, Hunter Pence and Michael Bourn were the players to get hits for the Astros.
