Cards finish series against Pirates with 5-1 win

The St. Louis Cardinals have recently struggled. Last night, however, they bounced back. Colby Rasmus set the tone of the game with a towering two-run shot that bounced its way into the Allegheny River in the second inning. The Pirates left 10 on base in the game, despite several chances at scoring.

The Cards square off at 7:15 Central tonight against the Brewers, the first of a three game series. Yovani Gallardo (4-1, 3.09 ERA) faces Kyle Lohse (3-2, 4.25).
