Can You Feel It….

  • Loyal Visitors, Authors, and those who are here for the first time….it’s almost time!

Can you feel it? The 2009 season is truly upon us….I don’t think I have ever been so anxious for a season to start in all of the years of my being a fan of this incredible game. As a Mets fan, I have much to witness the season…new stadium…new closer…new setup man….and some newfound hope in the team I love…

Besides Mr. Perez…I get a good vibe overall with this team. I plan on attending opening day and I will be posting pictures here on the blog of course. I encourage everyone who writes here to do the same! We love to see images from any games attended!

Anyway, on a more general note, let’s get this season kicked off right….I would like to open this post up to comments about why you simply CANNOT WAIT for this 2009 baseball season to finally begin….

So go ahead…tell the world why you are pumped for this season to get underway…

    You're a MLB Pro..Thanks For Coming Back!

Tampa Bay. I saw an underdog emerge in the playoffs. I want to see David Price pitch, actually pitch a game for his team. I think it should be interesting to see if B.J upton can become that great player. I want to see if Carl Crawford can be the man he was in the playoffs. And I want to see Evan Longoria proving he is one of the best third basemen in the game.
That is why I am pumped

  2. I open up every season with the same sense of excitement. I haven’t witnessed a world series in my lifetime, it’s a harsh reality that the majority of Cubs fans haven’t witnessed a world series win in there lifetime. Every year however there is optimism, this year more than any other year. It seems we have the perfect team, a fantastic rotation, a potent lineup with left and right handed hitters, speed and power a plenty, and a bullpen brimming with young talent, that’s if David Patton makes it to compliment the likes of Marmol and Gregg. I’m looking forward to finishing my day and getting back to see the Cubbies, getting settled, grabbing a beer from the fridge and just relaxing, of seeing the excitement build around Wrigleyville, and hopefully see the excitement from fans of a team that has not won it all in over 100 years.

So to answer your question Jeff of ‘Can i feel it?’ You bet i can :)
